Description: The mighty purse seiner plies her trade, pursuing salmon, mackerel, herring and tuna. Throughout the last half century, the purse seiner has been the most commonly used net on West Coast fishing vessels. This vessel captures surface fish by encircling them with a long net and drawing or "pursing" the bottom of the net. Each Anchor Bay sculpture is crafted of the finest materials, hand-painted and comes complete with its own history. This limited edition piece also comes with a wooden base and mirrored glass case.
