Description: ANASAZI MESA VERDE TULAROSA * RAM EFFIGY OLLA * Offered here for your consideration is almost a once in a life time opportunity to acquire a rare effigy form of pre historic Anasazi pottery, recovered from the Mesa Verde area of Utah, and Colorado. The Olla has been professionally restored, having had all four of its feet replaced and has also had about 10% restoration done to the head. The olla has also been broken and glued, to the best of my knowledge there is no other restoration work done on the fabulous piece of pre historic pottery. The pattern is a whirling wind design, done in reddish brown mineral paint over a white slip. In any condition, pieces of the caliber are rarely offered for sale. A discloser and release will be supplied with item. The olla is from nose to tail 10 inches long; From toe to ear 9 inches tall; It is 6 inches across or wide; GUARANTEED 100% AUTHENTIC Our terms of sale 1) GUARANTEE; I guarantee that all of the artifact’s that I list are authentic and unaltered in modern times unless otherwise noted, backed with a 30 day inspection period so you can have the item papered by a preferred authenticator that is familiar with materials and artifacts from the area from which the artifact listed came from. We have in the past sent items to 2 different authenticators and had the same item papered by one and turned down by the other. If the artifact is already papered then this opinion stands above all others. I try to do my best to type an artifact but there maybe a difference of opinion so I do not make refunds for items that may be typed differently than what I have interpreted it to be, it is up to you the buyer to know what you are looking at and use your best judgment when bidding. If we have any paper work on any of the pieces sold it will be included with the artifact to the winning bidder. Please ask any questions or ask for more photos prior to placing your buy. I will be happy to answer any questions you have if I can. 2) RETURNS: A full refund will be made less S/H/I once the item has been received back in the same condition as sent. If you have had the item turned down by an authenticator please include the original statement from that person and we will reimburse you for the costs of having it looked at. 3) Payment: You may pay for your item with personal checks, bank checks, and money orders. Bank checks, cashiers checks and personal check drawn on Wells Fargo banks will get your item on its way quicker. Other wise payments must clear our bank prior to item being shipped, up to 10 days. We can also accept bank wire transfers to Wells Fargo Bank. We no longer except Pay Pal as a form of payment. Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction. If you are having trouble with payment please let us know we are happy to work with you if we can. 4) Shipping: all items are shipped priority mail and are insured, unless other wise stated. Shipping will be quoted at the end of the auction but for the most part is usually $15.00 plus insurance. Insurance is based on a $1.50 per $100.00 of value and is extra. 5) Damaged items: If you receive your item damaged please contact the carrier and then contact us, we will supply all needed paper work on the insurance to the carrier. Once the paper work is finished you will be sent the insurance check. If you send an item back and we receive it damaged the same applies prior to your refund being issued. All items must be insured for the full amount being sent to you or being returned. If you return an item and do not insure it and it is damaged you will not receive a refund, so please help us to protect your money by insuring. Thank you and good luck. -
