Description:
This is a piece of Austrian amphora that is signed and numbered. It has the crown for Imperial, Austria and amphora in ovals. There is a number 11028/68 and a circle with Turn Teplitz and a space where the PD might have been. The vase is textured brown to turquoise in variations of color. The top is beige with gold overtones. The center is pale green with painted brown trees on both sides. The hips down are molded applied flowers in shades of pink and white centered with what is called a porcelain jewel. Under the flowers is heavy golden veining as stems. There are four small feet and golden long decorative handles. There is some gold loss on the lip and handles typical of usage. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is a stunning vase that does have have a sister piece available in less than perfect condition to be sold in another transaction, at a lessor price .
