Description: AMERICAN WATCH Co. 1857 MODEL APPLETON. TRACY, & Co. CIVIL WAR Circa: 1864. Rare and very collectible. Highest grade American Watch Co. offered during the American Civil War. Diamond wide well jewel settings. This is an excellent example of this rare early high grade Civil War production period. Clean, running and especially collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DIAL: White porcelain single sunken dial with Roman figures and marked: "AMERICAN WATCH Co." with two fine hairlines which do not distract. Original rare dial.

MOVEMENT: 18 size, full plate gilt, key wind and kew set, signed: "Appleton, Tracy, & Co., Waltham, Mass.", 15 Jewels, all wide well screw down diamond jewel settings, #132,791. Excellent original condition.

CASE: Nickel/Silver plain double hinged back and bezel key wind case. Excellent condition.
