Description: This is a lovely sterling silver tray by American silversmiths in a chic Danish style similar to the work of Georg Jensen. This elegant oval tray has a plain field with gently curved sides and a small plain rim that curves out at the sides in an openwork design of sculptural flower buds and seeds. This decoration is naturalistic rendered and adds interest and charm to this piece. This tray is in excellent condition and measures approx. 16 1/2" long and approx. 10" wide, and weighs approx. 29 troy ounces. It is marked on the reverse with the maker's mark of Redlich &Co., the word Sterling, pattern number 9467, and 16 1/8 IN. This beautiful antique silver tray is fine example of the modern Arts & Crafts style found in Danish style silverware. This is a highly decorative piece that would look chic on any tabletop.
