Description: American made Hudson River, Barbizon school frame made of pine and gold leaf over gesso. Circa 1850 1870. Of sand panel cove shaped with outside edge with bright gold leaf Sèvres style fish eye pattern highlights in the cove part of the frame also know as Leopard spot decoration. This frame would look great with a nice oil painting. Good quality. Inside of the frame is 9" 1/2 x 11" 1/2 the outside is 15" by 17" and 3" deep.
