Description: An America Chippendale Carved Mahogany Slant-front Desk - Massachusetts, circa 1780 with a rectangular top above a slant lid enclosing a fine fitted interior. The center compartment containing 2 small drawers flanked by document drawers and pigeon holes. Plain front with form graduated long drawers on short cabriole legs headed by brackets on Ball-and-claw feet. The top and sides are hand dove-tailed together. The brass drawer pulls and locks appear to be original. We are happy to provide more information and/or pictures upon request.
