Description: Late 18th to early 19th century American painted rosewood gaming table. The banding around the top leaf and the inner leaves when opened are painted in the same fashion. The pedestal has a faux marble painted surface banding and the platform base has painted flowers. There is a heavy carved beaded edge around each leaf. The casters are original and have cast paws. Probably New York or Baltimore. 36 1/2 by 18 1/4 inches with a height of 30 1/2 inches.
