Description: Watercolor on paper, framed (no glass). Unsigned. Label attached to frame verso: "Primitive Portrait of a Woman in Black Dress, Seated at a Table. Unk. - Am. 19C.? 7 1/2 x 5 3/4 watercolor, frd. P.4507 $800". Dimensions: Paper: 8 1/4 x 6 1/2in. Frame: 13 x 11in. Weight: 1lb. Condition: Paper attached to backing board with hinged tape at upper corners verso. Darkening to paper throughout. Wear to paper and surface color along all four edges. Colors have slightly faded. Foxing to paper throughout. A number of minor areas of staining/soiling to paper surface throughout. Otherwise, good condition overall. Artist's Biography:
