Description:
This cookie jar has a cold painted leaves & flowers design on the face with a dark brown color over creamy base. We have 2 at this time . See Ref.# 100483_484_485 also. Your choice! The jars are in very good shape but the cold paint on the red flowers and green leaves need a touch-up as shown. Appears to fit in the 40-50 (or even 1800s) decor style. The American Bisque Co. had its beginings in West Virginia in 1919 and cookie jars were produced from 1930 thru 1973. This was one of a series (churn, feed bag,& coffee pot) that had accessory pieces like salt & pepper, grease jar, pitcher, and glasses. We have many more cookie jars that will appeal to you so check our site.
