The contents include American Art Today, on contemporary painting, illustrations of paintings, on contemporary sculptures, on contemporary graphic arts, illustrations of graphic arts, concluding with an index of artists. This book was compiled by artist groups around the country and consists of the best and most representative in contemporary American art from 1939. There are numerous various prints of American art on every single page. There are 342 pages in this book. The measurements of this book are 12 x 9 1/8 x 7/8. The condition of the book is very good it has dark blue embossed cloth over board with yellow embossing for the title on the front cover and spine. The spine has some minute wear to the top and bottom of the spine (very minute). The glossy pages are all in very good condition and the binding is tight and clean.
