American Art Pottery Bowl w/ Hand-Painted Design, 20C
Description: American Art Pottery Bowl with Hand-Painted Design, 20th C. The interior of the bowl is decorated with an underglaze green floral design and decorative band along the cavetto, set against a cream colored glaze. The piece is unmarked. Dimensions: 2.75in. High, 11.5in. Diameter. Weight: 3lbs. Condition: The cream colored glazed is crackled throughout the interior of the ware. There are a number of small circular flat chips and pit marks in the glaze throughout the surface, most likely imperfections caused at time of production. There is rather significant surface wear throughout the unglazed biscuit base. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.
