With 120 steel engraved plates by William H. Bartlett, including a full page map of the Northeastern United States, portrait and two engraved title pages. 2vols. Originally published in 30 parts without text, and appearing here for the first time in expanded book form, this is a beautiful series of views, showing principal cities and scenisviews, engraved from drawings Bartlett made during a visit to America and Canada, 1837-1838.
