Description: Lovely old Aller Vale Devon Mottoware three-handle cup in the Scandy pattern. Excellent, near mint condition as there are no cracks or repairs and the colors are very vibrant, however there is crazing to the glaze and a glaze chip on the front of the piece which most likely occurred during the firing process. The motto reads “Fra Eelhla Better be thrang ner dewin nowt" It is marked on the bottom "Aller Vale 7N291” and measures a very petite 1 3/4" h x 1 3/4”w. A cute little piece that will compliment any collection of Torquay pottery.
