Description: An Alfred Meakin 1971 calendar plate. The plate is brown transferware on an ivory background. It has a scalloped edge with the months of the year and the names and symbols of the Zodiac around the rim. The center is decorated with a homey country scene and the motto "God Bless Our House Throughout 1971". It is stamped "Alfred Meakin, Staffordshire, England" in brown on the reverse.
