Description: This fine piece of African Art was purchased in Liberia in the 1970's by a customer of ours relatives. It was believed to be an old piece when it was purchased. We think the wood is teak but don't guarantee it. It is too cool with the vicious lion's mouth open exposing the ivory teeth. The African Tribal scene on top really captures your attention and imagination. It measures 19"D x 29"W x 21"H. It does have an age crack in the side of the body of the lion. This is character and does not affect the strength of this table. It has also been signed by the sculptor. The only one in the world! We buy entire estates and pass the savings on to you!
