Description: Stunning mahogany Aesthetic Victorian center table. The top has beautifully carved corners, a deep band of carving on the inside edge and an intricately carved edge. The skirt has horizontal line carving and ornate curved carvings on the underside. A exquisite delicately carved rectangular platform rests on an open carved stretcher in the base. This elegant table has elements of the work of Herter Brothers, NYC, although we cannot make a definitive attribution. It exhibits much of the quality and style of this premier late Victorian designer/furniture maker!
