Item Description:
This positively glorious canopy pub bar is crafted from solid mahogany and features lighted, lead glazed, multi-colored stained glass. On either side of this beautiful bar are doors with large stained glass panels on the top, and carved accent panels on the bottom. There are 2 designs of rope carved edging around the crown which has 13 different panels of stained glass, 3 on each side and 4 underneath. The underside of the crown also has stemware storage on either side of the central stained glass. The back bar has 2 mirrors with a beautiful inlaid lilly flower design and a smaller mirror with an inlaid border. These two side mirrors have a candle shelf while the third center mirror has a small shelf and an accent carved panel above it. On either side of the mirrors are angled corner cabinets with three open shelves, a lovely scalloped valance, and fluted accents along the sides. The lower portion of the back bar has 4 large drawers, and 6 large open shelves.
Spindle turned colums support the front of the canopy and rest on the front bar. The front column also has leaf carvings. The front bar has 4 large drawers, 2 large open shelves and storage for 24 bottles on the right side, and 4 pull-out trays for 4 bottles each on the left side. The drawers on both the front and back bar have dovetail joinery, a raised, bevelled trim around the edges and antiqued brass bail pulls. The front of the bar features exquisitely carved panels with fluted accents along the sides. The crown and the front bar are decorated with scrolled & carved acanthus leaf brackets.

OLD WORLD METHODS
Many people find that the old world methods used in the construction of these unique pieces add beauty and character. The handcrafted, shop built workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements, carvings, and finish. We do our best to insure quality by using workshops that use treated wood that has been 100% kiln dried to an 8-10% moisture content, however due to the nature of solid wood slight cracking may occur. Solid wood products constantly respond to their environment, therefore, the furniture has a subtle distressed look. Some splitting, cracking, chipping and glazing may occur, especially in harsher climates and when adjusting to temperature fluctuations. We, and the vast majority of our customers, think the imperfect nature of the wood and finishing methods create an antique but spirited look that is part of the charm and appeal of the product. Please be aware that these blemishes and imperfections are non-structural in nature and are to be expected.
