This is a handsome 6Ft antique English solid oak drawleaf dining table. It has a traditional top surface with wood grain quality and it features 2 draw leaves that extend the table from 41.75 square to 69.75 inches. The top surface may show gaps when the leaves are extended but as shown they are not distracting at all. In addition it has an elegant apron and distinguished large turned legs with rings and convenient casters. This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear including wood imperfections but as shown it is overall cosmetically and structurally in excellent condition and it is strong and sturdy. It is a beautiful piece that will make a lovely addition to any room.
English Pub Tables are Great!
Pub tables are popular for a variety of reasons. They are small and fit in small spaces yet the draw leaves extend so that most are five feet or more in length. They are solid wood and generally made of oak and have attractive wood bases in a variety of designs from Queen Anne legs to heavy twin pedestals. Some have a traditional stretcher base while others have diagonal stretchers. When it comes to functionality, there are few pieces that can be put to so many uses. They perform well as a kitchen table and equally well as a small dining room table. Some come with matching buffets, which make them a real prize. They make great game tables that can also double as an overflow table for big family gatherings. Students love pub tables as desks and study tables. They are a nice size to use as a computer table. There are few pieces of furniture that demonstrate the beauty, functionality, versatility and the long life of an English Pub Table. MBW Furniture now offers repair/refinishing services. We can repair or refinish any item for an additional fee. We do not recommend such services on antiques unless required by a valued customer as this will take away from the natural aged patina.

We feel it is important for our customers to realize that professional packing is not cheap and we do not want to take any chances with your hard earned money.
