Description: This rare 17 piece wooden apple filled with an incomplete miniature tea set is from the 1950's and was sold in the 5 and 10 stores like Woolworths. The set includes:
3 cups and 2 saucers
a round top table with 3 peg legs
a sugar bowl with 2 covers (1 cover was for the missing coffee pot) and a fruit bowl with 4 apples.
In very good condition, the sugar bowl handle is broken as I have shown in my pictures, the apple measures 3 inches high and 3 inches wide, the table top measures 2 inches in diameter and when set up measures 1 7/8 inches tall, the sugar bowl measures 3/4 inches talland 1 1/8 inches wide, the cups measure 1/2 inch tall and 7/8 inches wide, the saucers measure 3/4 inch in diameter and the fruit bowl measures 3/8 inch tall and 7/8 inch in diameter. A great addition to any Miniature Tea Set Collection.
