Description: This fabulous hUGE genuine amethyst ( 3CT) is surrounded but genuine seed pearls and it is a real BEAUTY! That part is actually hinged so it swings out a bit. I think it could be that it would let a thin silk scarf slide thru that or you could hang it from a chain. The large 14kt solid gold ring setting has some intricate and detailed metal work that makes it sparkle when it hits the light. The brooch is large ( 1 1/2" ) and is really well made. I don't think I have ever seen a mechanical one like this. It is in EXCELLENT condition and is even prettier than the photos!Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect. Sold as is and as found (used and vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable there can be no returns on this sale.. Please use photos to make your decisions.
