This desk has plain polished sides and a polished panelled rear elevation. With twin bobbin turned wooden handles to all the drawers and original brass locks to all drawers this is a very attractive high quality desk in a beautiful shade of dark fruitwood. The writing surface comprises a quality older leather in dark green with gold tooling. A particular feature of this desk are the extending slides to both left and right hand sides - each slide has a matching leather green writing surface with gold tooling. The extending slides give a further 15" (38cm) of working surface (each side) making this a most versatile and practical piece of furniture.
