How fashionable is SHE ?!! All that Jet, all that Lace, the Jewelery, the Hair swept up just so....she's a Lady of Substance! She could very well have been a "LADY IN RED" since red photographs as black in BL& WH photography. Just picture THAT! She was no doubt a major player on the social scene in Brantford, Ont., Canada, c 1880-90. The lighting is overall flat & therefore so flattering. Note the gilded photographer's stamp on the front & back. The condition is superb, I can find no flaws other than slight fading at the very top & to right side.
