Description:
We are pleased to offer a magnificent armorial cigarette case. Weighing 2.3 troy ounces of fine gold, this 14 karat cigarette case is beautifully made and bears two different armorials. Each has a coronet surimposed by, in one case, a rampant lion, while the other is superimposed by a falcon. The shields are decorated too: one is two fleur de lys crossed with a lion, while the other is a vine with leaves growing up a staff.Engraved to the inside with a presemtation date,(probably engraved long after the case was made):Decemberv 24,1932 the original presentation the 32 is superimposed over the original date of 1909.
