Description:
This is an all original weight driven Seth Thomas Wall Clock that was manufactured in the 1800s. Mechanical parts are made of brass and and the case appears to be walnut veneer. The glass on the front has a painted riverboat scene. The clock is in excellent working condition and has been used almost continually up to the present time. It strikes on the hour and generally loses two to three minutes per day. Appearance wise it is in overall good condition. As can be seen in the pictures, the clock face has some small areas of paint missing and the riverboat scene has approximately 30% percent of the paint missing. There is a small area of veneer missing on the bottom left had corner of the case. Considering its age, this clock has been well maintained.
