Description: Spectacular 19th century hand colored print. There is a lot of action along with superb detail in this print. It is a very nice old wooden frame which appears to be oak and it has a lot of dirt on the frame – a lot of aligatoring. The mat as you can see has a little bit of acid burning or discoloring and on the bottom of the mat it is hand lettered: “Der Brandt von Moskau-und die Reterade” and then underneath “Napoleon I 1812”. In my opinion this is not your average colored Napoleon print this appears to me to be a highly sophisticated subject matter. It overall it measures 23 ¾” x 30 ½” and the sight size is 15 ¾” 20 ½”.
