An elegantly simple Grandfather clock made by Jacques Tible by the end of the 19th century and originally coming from Rivesaltes a small town near Perpignan in the south west of France near the Spanish border. This adorable piece features a very nice enamel face highlighted with colorful floral pattern and surrounded by an intricate hammered brass frame embellished with trellis motifs and detailed flower filled vase. The brass pendulum is also original and decorated with compass rose. This piece is in good working order and complete, it also includes 2 weights and 1 crank. Note that this item must be leveled in order to work properly and that a clockmaker might be necessary to start the mechanism. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 91 ˝”high/ 19”wide/ 9”deep.
