Description: This is a splendid Mantle Clock made by the end of 19th century by Auguste Moreau who received a gold medal for this piece. This exquisite item consists of an adorable angel made from spelter with a bronze finish standing near the clock featuring an enamel face surrounded by a hammered brass frame accented with raie de cour pattern. The base of consists of a thick piece of cherry griotte marble, which is supported by bronze cast turned feet. This piece is in working order. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 16”high/ 13”wide/ 5 ½”deep.
