Description: An adorable petite Praying Chair made from solid walnut during the reign of Napoleon III by the middle part of the 19th century. This exquisite piece features a nicely scrolled seatback with a padded armrest supported by lovely turned columns standing upon the serpentine shaped seat sitting on turned legs. Note that the upholstery is estimated to be 20 years old, it might be necessary to replace it. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 36"high/ 10"Seat Height / 19"wide/ 16"deep.
