Description: An adorable serpentine-shaped petite stool made from solid walnut by the half of the 19th century featuring its original needlepoint floral upholstery, which has faded and is a little bit worn due to the age. The sides are nicely scrolled and supported by cabriole legs joined by a pretty X-shaped stretcher. Note the intricate embellishment depicting acanthus and floral patterns. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 17”high/ 23”wide/ 19”deep.
