Description: 19th century (circa 1840) French Louis XV style Carrara marble fireplace mantel. The shaped frieze beautifully carved with leaves, foliage and scrolls. The shaped jambs carved with stiff acanthus leaves surmounted by motifs of leaves and scrolled turnovers.
