Description: A 19th Century Court Sword. The sword has a double-edged 32 inch blade, measuring 37 inches overall. The blade is etched with scrolled foliate designs, a stand of arms and the makers name: ‘J. B. Johnstone. Dublin & London’. The hilt is of classic form and decorated with faceted brass beads to the knuckle bow and pommel. The sword comes complete in its original brass mounted leather scabbard.
