Late 19th century majolica tobacco jar in the shape of a pug dog. ' 16' handpainted onto the base. In good condition - just a tiny glaze chip on the bell on his collar - without restoration. There is also a manufacturing fault on the rim, in the back of the neck which looks like a small hairline crack but is not .SIZE 8 ins high x 6 ins across . No reserve
