Description: For sale is a wonderful wood trade advertising sign with original hand forged iron brackets and original paint. I believe the sign fit on the back of the work or delivery wagon for a landscape and florist business; the man from whom I bought it said the florist was still in business in Albany NY. The sign, circa 1890, is 47 1/4 inches long 8 3/4 inches wide, about an inch thick, and the part of the iron brackets that are below the sign are 9 inches long. There's some wear to the wood and the paint that's pictured. The painting of the company's name is gold and outlined in an old mossy green. Two contemporary hangers were added to the back at one time. It's an outstanding old trade sign! Shipping will be calculated to the buyer's zip code. The sign is large and heavy. Pick up in Atlanta is an option.
