Description:
Lot of four 19th century German and Victorian Photo albums. Three with red velvet and one with green velvet. The German green album velvet in plush condition engraved Friedericke Albrecht 1888 into the gilded brass cover adornment, gilded pages and claps lock. Page after page filled with photos.
The fourth with an ornate an high relief gilded scene depicting two children frolicking in the woods, also with gilded pages and a clap lock (missing the lock button). This album has less images however it has several military photos peppered with the civilian.
In all this is a great lot, from which you can not only admire the lavish 19th century workmanship and send hours more marveling at the 19th century photos.
SIZE: 8" x 10.5".
CONDITION: 2 are in very good condition the third more wear and the last has a ripped spine.
