The very first Hess truck sold for $1.29. These trucks were an instant hit and from 1964 on there has been a new Hess truck released every year around the Thanksgiving, just in time for Christmas. Hess has added to their truck line, fire engines, planes, police cars, tanker trucks and a space shuttle. Ever year collectors wait until the end of the year to see what style of truck is going to be unveiled.
In very good + condition, someone did write Front on the inside cardboard, it comes in it's original box and measures 4 3/4 inches high, 11 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. It has an emergency siren, back-up alert, search light, real head and tail lights and emergency flashers. A great addition to any Hess Truck Collection.
