The very first Hess truck sold for $1.29. These trucks were an instant hit and from 1964 on there has been a new Hess truck released every year around the Thanksgiving, just in time for Christmas. Hess has added to their truck line, fire engines, planes, police cars, tanker trucks and a space shuttle. Ever year collectors wait until the end of the year to see what style of truck is going to be unveiled.
In very good + condition it comes in it's original box and measures 3 1/2 inches high, 10 1/2 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. It has a duel sound siren, pulsating headlights and emergency flashers with real head and tail lights. A great addition to any Hess Truck Collection.
