Description: Here we have the second plate in the Christmas series by Royal Doulton. It measures 8.25" in diameter and is a lovely plate in mint condition in the original box with the original paper telling the history of the Christmas plates inspired by Victorian Christmas cards. It depicts a sweet old fashioned little girl with a basket. It was made by the Royal Doulton Company, 1978. On the back of the plate is the following poem. "A Merry Christmas, A Life of joy, Goodwill and Peace without alloy, I wish to all Good friends and true, A Merry Christmas Then to you."
