Description: She was America's dimpled darling, sugar & spice and all things nice with a gleam of mischief twinkling in her eye. The 1972 Shirley Temple doll by Ideal is one of the best ever done outside of the original 30's model. This 16" doll is made of vinyl which is unblemished. Her famous blonde curls are held by pins and protected by a hairnet. She has warm brown eyes accented by hair top lashes with painted lower lashes and eyebrows. The mouth is painted a delicate pink and frame her pearly white teeth. She is wearing a dress sprinkled with red heart polka dots, tied at the waist with a red satin ribbon, and trimmed above the hem with twin bands of red.. White panties, slip and socks with red buckle shoes complete her outfit. This doll is a treasure in very fine condition
