Description: CYRK posters are the quintessential posters of the world-famous Polish School of Posters. It was the Polish School of Posters that changed the face of contemporary graphic design forever and set the standards others follow. This scarce Vintage "TWO CLOWNS " poster was created by Marian Stachurski (1931-1980) - an award-winning graphic artist during the golden era of Polish poster art (post WWII-1989). Printed in Poland 1971/79, poster #76, copyright DESA, signed in plate M. Stachurski. CYRK posters are part of many museum & private collections. In Europe & Asia, they are exhibited and sold in galleries and auction houses as art. This particular poster is permanently displayed at Museum of Modern Art (NY), Library of Congress (Wash. DC) and Victoria & Albert Museum (London, England.
