Clermont Beam, Kentucky.’ The bottom has the markings, Creation of James B. Beam, Distilling Co., KY-DRB-230, Genuine Regal China, C. Miller 1969, 145, Liquor Bottle.
This woodpecker stands just over 13” tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or missing parts. The stickers are still intact on the front and back of the decanter. The front sticker is coming up slightly on the left side. This is a beautiful collectible for home decor or a bar/rest.
Woodpeckers gained their English name because of the habit of some species of tapping and pecking noisily on tree trunks with their beaks. This is both a means of communication to signal possession of territory to their rivals, and a method of locating and accessing insect larvae found under the bark or in long winding tunnels in the tree.
Jim Beam is a brand of bourbon whiskey, distilled in Clermont, Kentucky. This brand of whiskey has been distilled since 1795. The Jim Beam brand is owned by Beam Global Spirits & Wine, which is in turn owned by holding company Fortune Brands.
