Description: We recently purchased a large assortment of OLD Collector Plates, dating from the 1940's - 1960's. Included in this group are STATE PLATES, CALENDAR PLATES, CHURCH PLATES, and SOUVENIR PLATES from various locations. This 1968 CALENDAR Collector's Plate has a sports theme. It measures approximately 10 1/4" across. It has a nice deep well. The text and graphics in the center are somewhat faded. The fancy gold trim on the outer edge is very nice. The sports represented here are football, water skiing, tennis and bowling. The monthly calenders run counter-clockwise. There is a very small glazed-over factory chip on the back. This wonderful CALENDAR Collector plate from 1968 would be a desirable addition to your collection. If the year 1968 has any special meaning to you or someone you know, this is the item for you!!
