Description: We recently purchased a large assortment of OLD Collector Plates, dating from the 1940's - 1960's. Included in this group are STATE PLATES, CALENDAR PLATES, CHURCH PLATES, and SOUVENIR PLATES from various locations. This Collector Plate is a 1968 Calendar Plate with a Sports Theme. It measures 9" across. It has an off-white background. The trim and text are done in a nice gold color. The four sports represented in the center are bowling, football, water skiing and tennis. Something I find interesting about this plate is that the months run counter-clockwise. The text is 100% legible. The graphics are also in very good condition. If the year 1968 has a significant meaning for you, or if you are interested in sports, this collector plate would have special meaning for you.
