Description: Look through side slots as barrel spins on raised pivot and see actual animation from a series of slits in drum to give illusion of movement. Based on the pioneering movie animation automaton "Whirligigs" of the 19th century. Animations are of cartoon clips with characters from Disney films and children's books. Complete with original set of 12 movie strips that insert inside of drum to recreate first modes of movie animation. Early 60's. Lite fog of rust on cover, but all graphics remain clear, bright and sharp. Exceedingly rare. Size: 7"h x 6: dia. Weight: 2lbs 8 oz.
