Description:
1960's or possibly the 1950's vintage two story metal dollhouse. Very few have survived do to the thin metal, rust, and damage or destruction. This pink, two story house has a large living room and a large ktichen. Upstairs, there is a parents' bedroom and a children's bedroom. Also, the second floor has an outside deck or patio. The size is 23 inches by 18 inches. Th metal is so soft and pliable that it bends easily, both out of shape and also back into the correct shape. This dollhouse has little or no rust but can use a thorough cleaning. A wonderful addition to a doll collection. This house does not come with furniture. I could not see a maker's mark but it is probably not a Marx as the Marx dollhouses are marked as such. It is possible that I missed the manufacturer's logo. I have handled a few of these and my pricing should be very much in line with the fair market value. The shipping and handling reflects the valuable time that must be spent to securely cushion the thin metal so it will arrive in proper conditon.
