Description: This is quite cool! It's a 1957 edition of The Building Estimator's Reference Book in great condition! Still has it's dust cover intact but does show some wear and discoloration as to be expected from age, the fact that it's made of just paper and no glossy coating and for who used it...a contractor! This is The New Fourteenth Edition and measures a little over 3" thick. Not exactly a pocket sized book yet it's size of 6.5" by 4.5" makes it a nice small yet fat book! Binding is still nice and tight and has very little bumping on the edges of the wine colored leather cover. All pages are still intact and nice and crisp. There are some really great images in the book and you just have to love the prices of the materials, talk about inflation!

Interresting fact...1 square foot of Asbestos Flexboard/Wallboards for indoor and outdoor use cost only .38 cents in 1957..not a bad price for something that's killing us 49 years later!

This book would make a great addition to any book or building paraphernalia collection!
