Description: 1955 Magnificent Vintage Machine Age Ad- Dietzgen offers A Glorious Gateway To Tomorrow in Engineering Design Rudi Artwork. Absolutely Incredible Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of a 1955 Fortune Magazine. Dietzgen Co created a marvelously futuristic series of color ads within a short period of time, extolling the virtues of modern technology with an optimistic yet majestic look with true Machine Age grandeur. In this image painted exclusively for the company by artist Rudi, tow gentlemen gaze over plans for a project dwarfed by the enormity of the powerful new Telescope at Palomar. The background gives a gleaming burst of color oranges and yellows to suggest heat and a small view of a brilliantly star-filled turquoise sky which the enormous telescope points towards. This ad is both forward thinking and reminiscent of the promises of the future seen at the infamous 1939 New York World's Fair. Ad is absolutely fantastic looking sure to be a hit with anyone interest in futuristic imagery of any period, Machine Age Art and scientific discovery of the Mid-Century! Measures 11 x 15 will be stunning on display!
