Simply Fabulous Original Vintage Pin-Up Art by Jon Whitcomb featured in this beautiful ad done for a 1951 issue of Life Magazine. Playful and sexy this is the luxurious look of the Mid-Century- glamorous chic and exceptionally vivid in shades- note this woman's smile, blonde pony-tail, raspberry pink robe and strappy high heels contrasting with the incredible Jet-Age turquoise of her chaise lounge. The lettering is also done in audacious vivacious hot pink and chirps Cannon nylons do something for my legs! Great image and endorsement by artist Jon Whitcomb makes this ad a little more unusual than ordinary pin-up art. Ad measures 11 x 15 and is in bright clean overall condition- very slight darkening to the edges which is typical for Life Magazine images of the time.
