Description: 1951 Outstanding Vintage Mid-Century Richard Avedon Harper's Bazaar Fashion Kodachrome Photo Page. Sleek and Sophisticated Modern Style done by famed photographer Richard Avedon for the glossy and gorgeous pages of an April, 1951 issue of Harper's Bazaar Magazine. Bold and stark by contrast to the majority of fashion images of the period, this image is absolutely beautiful- gray background, black piano and lovely auburn haired model in simple chic white linen embroidered shirt and skirt from one of the arbiters of Mid-Century Manhattan taste Bonwit-Teller. This is a beautiful and rare image which will gracefully adorn your walls and enhance the beauty of your decor. Richard Avedon was one of the most innovative photographers to ever raise a camera at a lovely face- his work for Harper's Bazaar made him a household name at a time when Bazaar was noted for it's modern even avant-garde approach to fashion and the world- due in large part to fashion editor extraordinaire Diana Vreeland. This wonderful image measures 10 x 14 and is in crisp excellent condition overall. A stunning example of the always incredible works of this master artist!
