Description:
WOW! This is a fantastic electric Mid Century Modern small kitchen appliance, both useful and attractive. Made of chrome and brown bakelite ( tested ) , it has 12 speeds that are selected by turning the fitting at the end. There is also a switch at the side of the base for selecting a large or small bowl. The top part detaches so that it can be used as a hand mixer. AND, when attached to the stand, the top part can be snapped into a tilted position that lists the blades up out of the mix so they can drip into the bowl and be easily removed without a mess. The whole mixer can be stored in a cupboard and easily moved to the counter, with a detachable cord that plugs into the top. They thought of everything! The design is sleek and modern. Included is a heavy milk glass small mixing bowl with a pour spout, bottom marked Glasbake 8 Made in U.S.A. for Sunbeam. This is in near mint condition. I will also include a set of mixer blades ( I have a box full and will find two in excellent condition that fit ) . The mixer is in excellent to near mint condition with a few scratches here and there, mostly on the side of the top, detachable section.
